2Preparing for Updates
Before installing an update:
**Requirements:**

- Battery level above 30%
- Vehicle parked (cannot drive during update)
- 30-60 minutes available
**Best practices:**
1. Park in garage or covered area
2. Connect to home WiFi
3. Ensure battery is above 50% (recommended)
4. Don't schedule if you need to drive soon

3Installing Updates
Step-by-step installation:
1. **Check for updates**
- Open BYD app
- Go to 'Settings' > 'System Update'
- Or check in-car: Settings > System > Update
2. **Download update**
- Tap 'Download'
- Ensure WiFi connection is stable
- Download takes 10-20 minutes
3. **Install update**
- Tap 'Install Now' or 'Schedule'
